K2 LAMP DOCTOR 60 GR

K2 Lamp Doctor 60 g is a high-quality polishing paste developed for the restoration of plastic and glass headlights. Its advanced abrasive formula effectively removes oxidation, yellowing, dullness, fine scratches and weathering, restoring the original transparency and shine of headlight lenses. The compound can be applied by hand or with a polishing machine, making it suitable for both professionals and DIY users. It is also ideal for polishing other transparent plastic surfaces such as motorcycle windscreens, caravan windows, boat windows and aircraft plexiglass.

How to Use

Machine Polishing

• Mask surrounding painted surfaces with masking tape.
• For heavily damaged headlights, wet sand with P2000–P3000 sandpaper.
• Clean and degrease the surface.
• Apply K2 Lamp Doctor to a polishing pad.
• Spread the product at approximately 600 RPM, then polish at around 1200 RPM until a clear, glossy finish is achieved.
• Wipe away residue with a clean microfiber cloth.

Hand Polishing

• Clean and degrease the surface.
• Apply a small amount of the paste using a sponge or microfiber applicator.
• Polish using circular or overlapping motions until clarity is restored.
• Buff with a clean microfiber cloth.

Tips

• For best results, properly prepare heavily oxidized headlights by wet sanding before polishing.
• Protect restored headlights with a UV coating or headlight sealant (such as K2 Lamp Protect) to prevent future yellowing.
• Avoid polishing hot surfaces or under direct sunlight.
• Use clean microfiber cloths for the final finish.
• Suitable for both manual and machine polishing.
